Why we’re enhancing 2FA

To make your account even safer, we are introducing additional 2FA options. These new methods give you more choice in how you securely access your account and approve sensitive actions. The new options include:

• Passkey

• Authenticator App

• WhatsApp

• SMS

These enhanced 2FA options help protect you from:

• Phishing or scam attempts

• Weak or stolen passwords

• Unauthorised access

Once you set up one of the new 2FA methods, you’ll be able to log in using your 2FA method or biometrics (if enabled), so you won’t need to enter your email and password every time.

Can I use more than one 2FA method?

Yes. You can set up multiple 2FA methods. Initially, you will be prompted to set up one 2FA method. After that, you can add more methods anytime via: Settings > Security > Two-Factor Authentication

This is helpful if you:

• Lose your phone

• Change devices or SIM cards

• Have no internet or mobile signal

For example, you might use a Passkey as your main method and an Authenticator App as a backup.

Setting up multiple methods ensures you won’t get locked out and makes logging in easier and more reliable, even at sea.

You can add, remove and manage your 2FA methods anytime under Settings > Security > Two-Factor Authentication.
