How to activate your account with self-verification

If your employer has registered you for a MarTrust Account, follow these steps to verify your identity and activate your account.

1. Open the activation email

You'll receive an email from [email protected] with activation instructions.

Select ‘Finish your account setup’ to go to the MarTrust Account setup page.

2. Create your password

Set a password for your new account. Your password must:

  • Be at least 8 characters long

  • Include at least 1 number

  • Include at least 1 special character (like !, @, #, etc.)

Read the Terms & Conditions and tick the box to agree.
Select ‘Continue’.

3. Verify your identity

Enter your personal details, including your name, date of birth, and address.
Select ‘Continue’.

You’ll be redirected to Onfido, our trusted verification partner. There, you’ll need to:

  • Scan your passport

  • Take a selfie to match your passport photo

  • Upload one proof of address document (not older than 3 months):

    • Bank statement

    • Council tax bill

    • Utility bill

    • Telephone bill (not mobile)

    • Passport or ID/driver’s licence showing your address and expiry date

4. We’ll check your details

Once completed, we’ll verify your details.

This can take 2–3 business days.
We’ll email you as soon as your account is ready.
